Objectives
The South East London Workforce Development Confederation (SELWDC) wanted to improve the efficiency of the enquiry and application processes by employing an online service which would provide nurses with an easy-to-use application form. As with many niche-market public sector solutions, the Return to Practice (RTP) application had to encompass many complex requirements and policies – it had to meet very specific business needs in a limited budget. The objectives of the project can be summarised as:
- Improve the efficiency of inquiry
- Streamline the application process
- Promote uptake of the application process
- Deliver a scalable solution which can be used in other areas of the (NHS)
- Go live within three months
