Rather than bore you with everyone's life history and favourite pets, here are brief outlines of three of us, just so you know what you're up against!Tim Carr - Managing Director
Having worked in the industry since 1995 for clients including the Ministry of Defence, the Financial Times and the Economist, Tim founded 3rd Eye Vision in the summer of 1998. Quickly establishing the company as a reliable key player in an environment where results are more important than talk, he has since been responsible for steering the company clear of the pitfalls that beset so many and driving it forward to become a leader in providing economical solutions for the public sector. Over the past two years Tim has been responsible for winning several major public sector contracts and overseeing projects at a strategic level.
Dan Frost - Technical Director
Having lived and grown up in Cambridge, Dan has been involved in many Multimedia and Arts projects. Since achieving his MSc in Electronic Publishing in 2002, Dan has continued to push forward the boundaries of TYPO3. He has enabled 3rd Eye Vision to become globally recognised as lead developers for TYPO3 and is currently a core developer for the product.Dan is most notably responsible for developing the metadata extension within TYPO3 and holds the title of ‘Head of Architecture’ within the TYPO3 core developers. His role as Technical Director within the Company means that he is responsible for all technical issues. Most recently Dan has been developing many new and exciting improvements to TYPO3 and led development of two NHS applications.
Matt Miller – Senior Designer
After graduating from the University of Westminster with a first class degree in Graphic Information Design, Matt worked as an Information Designer at Mahony Associates, designing sites for clients such as BT, Syntegra and Reuters. Following a spell at Entranet, Matt worked for the leading Scottish design company Navy Blue. He joined 3rd Eye Vision in early 2005 and in his current role as a Senior Designer combines hands-on creative work with project management duties, including project planning and developing site architectures. Specialising in web usability and interface design, Matt has worked on websites for clients such as Boots, Knoll, Ideal Standard and the English National Opera, as well as web applications for the NHS and several e-government initiatives. Matt is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Westminster, where he has recently completed his MA in Interactive Media.
